What is the Do-Not-Advertise list?
The Do-Not-Advertise list (also called the DNC list) is a set of phone numbers registered not to receive any advertising messages or advertising calls.
– Organisations and individuals are not allowed to send advertising messages or make advertising calls to numbers on the Do-Not-Advertise list.
– A subscriber has the right to add or remove a phone number they legally use to or from the Do-Not-Advertise list.
How to register or cancel registration on the Do-Not-Advertise list
1) By SMS (free):
Register: send a message with the syntax DK DNC to 5656.
Cancel: send a message with the syntax HUY DNC to 5656.
2) Via the website:
Go to khongquangcao.ais.gov.vn.
Enter the phone number you want to register or cancel.

Enter the OTP code sent to the number to verify.
Note: any registration or cancellation via the website or app must be verified through the phone number that made the registration or cancellation.
Check whether a phone number is already registered to block advertising
Penalties for violations:
Under clause 6, Article 94 of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP, an organisation or individual that sends advertising messages or makes advertising calls to numbers on the Do-Not-Advertise list may be fined from VND 80,000,000 to VND 100,000,000.
Registering on the Do-Not-Advertise list helps users avoid unwanted advertising messages and calls, contributing to the protection of personal rights in the use of telecommunications services.
